SAP PS Functional Consultant

Robert Half is recruiting for an Interim SAP PS Lead/Functional Architect

Robert Half is working with a global consulting firm to appoint a senior-level SAP Project Systems (PS) Consultant to support a strategic transformation programme at National Gas. This role will play a key part in shaping project architecture and integration strategies post-restructure, while also acting as a staff augmentation lead managing partner resources.

Contract Assignment Details:

• Location: Solihull (Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: 6 months initially
• Rate: £550-£600/day via umbrella

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on project impacts and realignment following organisational restructure
• Lead SAP PS architecture discussions to enhance system and data flow integration
• Configure and support core SAP PS functions (WBS, cost planning, budgeting)
• Act as a staff augmentation lead overseeing third-party/partner resources
• Work closely with business leads and IT to align delivery with strategic objectives
• Provide input into systems roadmaps and transformation planning

Background:

Proven leadership experience with SAP Project Systems (PS)
Strong cross-functional understanding (FICO, PM, MM, SD)
Confident engaging at both business and technical levels
Experience within utilities or large regulated infrastructure organisations preferred
SAP S/4HANA and SAP upgrade experience highly desirable
