Responsibilities

• Extensive knowledge of SAP PI/PO operations, integration frameworks, and middleware architecture.
• Strong understanding of SAP integration components, including adapters, ESR/ID objects, mappings, and monitoring tools.
• Continuously stay updated on the latest SAP PI/PO technologies, upgrade paths, and best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot SAP PI/PO integration issues and communication failures between SAP and non SAP systems.
• Analyze business requirements and IT processes, defining the future design of the SAP PI/PO landscape.
• Lead the upgrade project of existing SAP PI/PO applications to the latest SAP PI/PO versions.
• Implement solutions within an Agile DevOps environment (Scrum + ITIL), ensuring high quality and operational stability.
• Provide 3rd level support to guarantee smooth, stable, and reliable integration operations.
• Communicate daily with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, senior management, and distributed project teams.

You must have:

• Proven experience in managing and evolving SAP PI/PO landscapes aligned with customer integration needs.
• Strong expertise in troubleshooting SAP PI/PO interfaces and optimizing integration performance.
• Training and hands on experience in SAP PI/PO design, development, and end to end integration architecture.
• Experience in SAP PI/PO upgrade projects across complex enterprise environments.
• Project management skills to coordinate tasks, stakeholders, and deliverables.
• Knowledge of scripting and programming routines (Java, Groovy, XML, XSLT, ABAP for integration scenarios).
• Experience in integration automation and monitoring automation within SAP environments.
• Strong English proficiency (reading, writing, listening, and speaking).
• European Union citizenship or valid Portuguese Work Visa / Residency.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model (1-2 days per week in the office).
