We are working on behalf of a client embarking on a greenfield SAP S/4HANA transformation, and seeking an experienced SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) Specialist. This role is pivotal in designing and configuring SAP MDG to support critical data governance processes across domains such as Finance, Business Partner, Vendor, and Material.

5 Key Skills Required:

• Deep functional and technical expertise in SAP MDG, covering at least two domains (e.g., Business Partner, Material, Finance)
• Strong skills in configuration, data modelling, and workflow design
• Experience with data validation, cleansing, and quality monitoring tools
• Familiarity with integration between MDG, S/4HANA, and legacy systems
• Strong collaboration skills with data owners, architects, and functional leads

5 Areas of Responsibility:

• Lead the design and deployment of SAP MDG for key master data domains
• Configure data models, validations, UI, and workflows within the MDG environment
• Work with functional consultants to align MDG processes with S/4HANA architecture
• Support data cleansing and migration, ensuring compliance with data governance standards
• Deliver training, documentation, and post-go-live support for business users and stewards
