Job Title: SAP S/4HANA Master Data Lead/Business Data Owner (BDO)
Location: Barcelona (40-50% onsite) + Remote + Occasional EU travel
Duration: 4-6 months with possible extension

Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP S/4HANA Master Data Lead/Business Data Owner to support our customer. This is a key role acting as the bridge between business and IT, driving data governance, quality, and continuous improvement across live S/4 systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and steer end-to-end Master Data Management (MDM) processes across Business Partner, Material, and Finance domains
• Drive data quality, governance, and continuous improvement across global S/4 environments
• Act as the primary interface between Group IT and local business units
• Coordinate new business requirements and support template enhancements
• Lead post-go-live (hypercare) support, defect resolution, and user guidance
• Deliver training, documentation, and best practice sharing across regions
• Support governance processes, ensuring standardisation and business case approval for new developments
• Collaborate with BI and IT teams to align data and reporting needs

Key Requirements

• 12+ years of SAP experience, with strong exposure to Master Data Management/Data Governance
• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA environments (post go-live)
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP SD and/or FICO
• Experience working with Business Partner master data
• Background in global template governance and multi-country rollouts
• Strong stakeholder management skills across business and IT
• Experience in leadership or team coordination roles
