ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The purpose of the Functional Analyst role in the Process & Functional Support function of HR (PFS HR) is to act as a key player in the support of the HR applications and data related to Time & Payroll (TM/PY) this includes:

• APS (Goals Systems) Workforce Management, Planning & Scheduling
• Power Workforce Management, Planning & Scheduling
• Time Registrations via SAP HR, SAP Portal and Mobile Devices (FIORI)
• Time Management, Negative/Positive/Quota Calculations via SAP HR
• Payroll Posting via SAP HR
• Interfaces to and from different Legacy Applications via API's, SAP PI, SAP Idocs and SAP BTP
• Interfaces to and from Operational Planning Applications via SAP PI, ESB and SAP Idocs

Providing day-to-day excellence in Functional & Technical Application Support which entails:

• End to End responsibility for resolving assigned incidents/requests
• Diagnosing/Analyzing issues and changes, design solutions
• Preparation of functional/technical specifications using technical expertise
• Customizing in SAP HR and related (HR) applications

Major Accountabilities:

• Act as Change Manager for certain changes and requests regarding HR applications for TM/PY and planning. Manage expectations and ensure effective, practical planning & qualitative delivery.
• Work with TM/PY Process Leads, TM/PY key users and other HR members to operationally manage assigned change requests, bug fixes and small operational enhancements. Ensure fit with process and customer/user satisfaction, engagement/adoption by the business.
• Plan and coordinate new HR TM/PY applications releases (Scope/Delivery/Testing/Communication/Adoption/Quality Assurance)
• Actively bring in best practices, out-of-the box thinking, insights and technology trends to help improve HR TM/PY applications and level of service regarding these applications.
• Proactively try to improve support, training, processes and communication around HR TM/PY applications

• You will report to the Business Area HR Lead and will work closely with the HR Process Leads, HR Organization and the other IT functions

Conformity Criteria

• You have more than 10 years of relevant experience as SAP Time specialist in large Belgian organizations (.000 employees) with a mixed workforce (statutory and contractual employees)
• At least 10 years of experience in maintaining SAP HR modules (SAP PAOM, SAP Time Management (Negative/Positive/Quota), SAP Time Registration, SAP Payroll) and integrations between SAP HR modules and third party applications:
• Proven experience (min. 5 years) with the implementation, maintenance and support of Goals Systems (APS with integration to SAP Time Management)
• Proven experience (min. 5 years) with setting up, maintaining and troubleshooting in- & outbound integrations with SAP HCM & Time (API's, SAP PI, SAP Idocs and SAP BTP)

Evaluation Criteria

• Functional & technical knowledge of: APS Goal Systems
• Time Management, Negative/Positive/Quota Calculations via SAP HR
• Time Registrations via SAP HR, SAP Portal, HR Kiosk (Webdynpro/FIORI) and Mobile Devices (FIORI)
• Employee Self Service/Manager Self Services via SAP HR, SAP Portal (Webdynpro/FIORI) and Mobile Devices (FIORI), aka Multichannel
• Interfaces to and from Operational Planning Applications and third party applications via SAP PI, ESB, SAP Idocs and SAP BTP
• Experience in customizing and configuring SAP HR and related HR applications
• Ability to perform functional analyses and translate business requirements into functional solutions
• Ability to analyze and resolve incidents, problems, and functional/technical issues within SAP HR and related HR applications
