SAP Functional Test Lead

With a hands-on culture and close proximity to its clients, Sogeti is currently looking for an SAP Functional Test Lead to join our Quality Engineering and Test Practice, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving impactful value creation for our clients.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including:

• Lead the development and execution of test scenarios for the SAP Assembly module, ensuring alignment with business objectives and quality standards.
• Define and implement comprehensive test strategies for End-to-End and Business Acceptance Testing (BAT), supporting client readiness and user adoption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive seamless integration across SAP modules and ensure solution consistency.
• Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable, effective SAP PP/MM solutions.
• Actively contribute to project planning, governance, and status reporting, offering strategic insights and risk mitigation recommendations.
• Lead the resolution of technical issues within the SAP PP/MM landscape, ensuring system stability and performance.
• Location: Based in Manchester, commutable to Broughton, Chester.

• Advanced proficiency in SAP PP (Production Planning) and SAP MM (Materials Management) modules.
• Deep expertise in MRP processes, routings, and bill of materials, with the ability to optimize and troubleshoot complex configurations.
• Strong experience in designing, executing, and managing test cases, including data consistency and integrity checks.
• Proven ability to lead defect management processes, including identification, documentation, tracking, and root cause analysis.
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional team environments, with a focus on collaboration and delivery excellence.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
• Proactive, strategic thinker with a strong problem-solving orientation and a track record of delivering high-quality SAP solutions.
• Background in the industrial or manufacturing sector.

• Tricentis TOSCA Automation Specialist Level 1 & 2 certifications.
• Knowledge of SAP testing methodologies.
