SAP FSCM Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA FSCM Consultant to support a large-scale global SAP S/4HANA transformation program within the pharmaceutical sector. The consultant will play a key role in designing, configuring, and implementing Finance & Controlling solutions in line with SAP S/4HANA Clean Core standards, ensuring high-quality delivery and strong alignment with business requirements.

This is a new contract role created to address increasing complexity and demand within the S/4HANA FICO landscape and to help accelerate delivery across critical finance streams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling (FICO) solutions following Clean Core principles
• Lead and facilitate business workshops to gather and validate requirements
• Perform detailed analysis of complex business processes and translate into functional solutions
• Produce high-quality Functional Specifications (FS) and related documentation
• Support design and developments aligned with SAP S/4HANA standards
• Work hands-on with satellite systems and integrations via APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SD, MM, Treasury, Integration, Development)
• Support testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years SAP experience with multiple end-to-end S/4HANA FICO implementations
• Strong knowledge of:
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Collections
• FSCM Credit Management
• FSCM Collections Management
• FSCM Dispute Management
• Experience with Trade & Treasury (TRM) and trade finance integration
• Integration experience with Sales & Distribution and customer financing solutions
• Exposure to SAP Taulia integration
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
• Knowledge of ABAP debugging is a strong advantage

Nice to Have

• Previous pharma/life sciences project experience
• Experience working on global template or transformation programs

Logistics

• Remote-first engagement
• Occasional on-site presence in Leverkusen, Germany
• Contract until end of year with high likelihood of extension
