SAP Finance Transformation Lead - 12+ Months - Netherlands

Our client, a leading global FMCG organization, is seeking an experienced Finance Transformation Lead to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA and Central Finance transformation program.

This role will focus on Chart of Accounts, Financial Close, Reconciliations, and Financial Data Governance, driving global standardization and ensuring alignment between accounting requirements, reporting needs, and system capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and governance of Chart of Accounts and financial master data.
• Drive Financial Close, reconciliation, and financial governance processes.
• Partner with Finance, Controllership, Internal Controls, and IT teams.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Support testing, deployment, process harmonization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as the Finance SME within SAP transformation projects.

Requirements

• 10+ years' experience in Accounting, Controllership, Financial Reporting, Finance Transformation, or related areas.
• Strong understanding of Financial Close, Reconciliations, and Financial Data Governance.
• Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, internal controls, and accounting governance.
• Mandatory SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Finance experience.
• Experience in Finance Transformation, ERP, or SAP implementation projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA, or equivalent) is a plus.
