Location: 60% onsite in Bern, Switzerland/40% remote
Languages: Fluent German and English required

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) Consultant to join a long-term S/4HANA implementation in Bern. The consultant will drive design, configuration, and integration activities within the EAM landscape, ensuring robust and scalable solutions aligned with business requirements.

This position requires deep expertise in Plant Maintenance (PM) and EAM processes, with a strong focus on preventive and corrective maintenance, integration with other SAP modules, and experience leading large implementation projects.

Must-Have Skills

• Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)

• In-depth EAM business process knowledge, including preventive and corrective maintenance

• Proven S/4HANA SAP EAM configuration experience

• Strong integration knowledge across FI, SCM, HR, and PS modules

• Experience with Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) and Work Clearance Management (WCM)

• Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori applications

• Detailed MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) experience and integration with SCM

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Linear Asset Maintenance experience

• Experience with SAP EAM reporting capabilities

• Lead role experience in at least 2 large-scale SAP implementations (S/4HANA preferred)

• Strong stakeholder management and ability to align business and IT

• Experience conducting workshops and defining functional blueprints

• Collaboration with solution architects to deliver value-driven outcomes

• Experience in project monitoring, resource estimation, risk management, and progress reporting

Key Responsibilities

• Develop sustainable EAM solutions based on defined business requirements.

• Contribute expertise throughout design and build phases in collaboration with BizDevOps (onshore/offshore) teams.

• Create detailed artefacts within SAP Focused Build (collaboration diagrams, functional/configuration design specs).

• Perform customizing/configuration of SAP EAM and ensure optimal system performance.

• Conduct testing and reviews, supporting end-to-end test automation.

• Collaborate on integration issues between SAP modules (PP, MM, FI, CO).

• Support deployment and release management activities.

• Work in close alignment with agile principles - driving collaboration across teams.

Ideal Profile

• Senior-level SAP EAM Consultant with deep hands-on experience.

• Capable of working independently and leading functional streams.

• Excellent communicator in German and English, comfortable engaging with business and technical stakeholders.

• Proven track record in S/4HANA environments.

• Open to onsite collaboration in Bern (approx. 3 days per week).
