SAP BTP Technical Architect - Remote Contract

Working arrangement: Remote
Duration: Initially 2-4 days, with a good chance of further work

Our client in Denmark is looking for an experienced SAP BTP Technical Architect to review their existing BTP account architecture and SAP Cloud Identity Services setup.

The initial assignment will focus on assessing the current design, recommending any necessary changes and understanding the impact of consolidating two accounts into one. There is a good chance this will lead to further work supporting the changes and related SAP projects.

Scope of work

• Review the existing SAP BTP account architecture and propose improvements.

• Assess the technical and business impact of the proposed account consolidation, including dependencies across applications and projects.

• Review SAP Cloud Identity Services and identify how the proposed changes could affect authentication, user provisioning and access.

• Advise on delivery risks and work with SAP project teams to plan production cutovers and rollback arrangements.

Experience required

• Strong experience in SAP BTP architecture and administration, including global accounts and subaccounts.

• Hands-on knowledge of SAP Cloud Identity Services, particularly Identity Authentication (IAS) and Identity Provisioning (IPS).

• Experience with single sign-on, trust configuration and connectivity across SAP landscapes.

• Experience assessing technical changes and planning migrations, production cutovers and rollbacks.

• The ability to explain recommendations and risks clearly to technical teams and business stakeholders.

This would suit a senior SAP BTP Architect or an SAP Basis/Technical Architect with substantial BTP and cloud identity experience.
