SAP BTP AI Core Engineer

My client is looking for an experienced SAP BTP AI Core Engineer for a 12 month contract,

Job Description and skills required:

• Designs, builds, and operates AI-enabled solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform, integrating them into SAP ERP (S/4HANA/ECC) business processes.
• Acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery - analysing where AI adds measurable value, then implementing it.
• Identify and assess AI use cases across ERP processes (finance, procurement, supply chain, sales, HR) and translate them into technical designs.
• Ability to organise & manage technically the initiatives.
• Develop AI/GenAI applications on BTP using SAP AI Core, AI Launchpad, Generative AI Hub, and Joule extensibility.
• Build and expose services via CAP (Node.js/Java), integrate through SAP Integration Suite, Event Mesh, and OData/REST APIs.
• Integrate models with ERP data using RAG patterns over SAP HANA Cloud Vector Engine, CDS views,
• Handle MLOps: deployment, monitoring, prompt versioning, cost and token governance.
• Ensure data privacy, authorization and AI governance/compliance requirements are met.
• Document solutions, run PoCs, and present findings and ROI cases to IT leadership.

Location:

Anderlecht Belgium 2 days per week in office required with 3 days per week remote work possible.
