SAP B1 Consultant - Ireland SAP Business One Gold Partner €75,000 - €90,000

The Role

You will be a client-facing SAP Business One Consultant, working end-to-end on customer implementations, upgrades and enhancement projects. Day to day you will run requirements workshops, configure SAP B1 core modules, deliver key-user and end-user training, and support customers through UAT, go-live and early-life support.

This is a hybrid role with regular travel to customer sites across Ireland - expect a healthy mix of client days, delivery-team days and home-office days, week to week.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP Business One implementation and upgrade projects across the full lifecycle - discovery, Blueprint, configuration, data migration, UAT, training and go-live


• Run discovery and requirements workshops with finance, operations and supply-chain stakeholders across the partner's Irish customer base


• Configure SAP Business One core modules - Financials, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Banking, MRP and Production


• Deliver SAP B1 end-user and key-user training on customer sites and remotely


• Author functional specifications and partner with the technical team on customisations, add-ons and integrations


• Support pre-sales activity - discovery calls, demos and proposal input alongside the sales team

The Candidate - Essential

• 5+ years' commercial experience as a SAP Business One Consultant, SAP B1 Functional Consultant or SAP Business One Implementation Consultant


• Proven full-lifecycle track record across at least 5 SAP B1 implementations, ideally on both SQL and HANA editions


• Strong functional knowledge of SAP B1 Financials and at least two of: Distribution, Manufacturing or Services


• Hands-on with SAP B1 core configuration - chart of accounts, posting periods, approval procedures and MRP


• Excellent client-facing consulting skills at a senior level - workshop facilitation, requirements management, functional documentation and stakeholder management


• Confident acting as the senior SAP B1 voice on a customer project and mentoring junior consultants


• Full driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites across Ireland


• Eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland

The Candidate - Desirable

• SAP Business One certification (current or expired)


• Exposure to SAP Business One on HANA as well as SQL editions


• Experience with Boyum B1 Usability Package (B1UP), Produmex WMS or Beas Manufacturing


• Background in a SAP Business One Gold or Silver Partner consultancy

You are a senior SAP Business One consultant who enjoys being in front of customers and knows how to move a project forward without dropping the relationship. You are pragmatic - you know when to configure inside SAP B1 and when to push back on a requirement. You bring a warm, plain-English style to workshops and training, you are comfortable being the most senior SAP B1 voice in the room, and you can balance multiple customer engagements at any one time.
