SAP Analytics Solution Architect - Freelance

The SAP Analytics Solution Architect will provide support to our energy sector client within their Analytics team in defining, governing, and delivering analytics solutions across the S/4HANA landscape and related platforms.

The role focuses on solution architecture, data modelling, performance optimisation, and governance, working closely with business stakeholders, functional streams, and delivery partners to translate requirements into scalable, high-quality analytics aligned with clean-core principles.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a strategic, high-visibility SAP team, shaping the analytics roadmap, influencing design decisions across multiple business areas, and driving adoption of modern extensibility and analytics best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable analytics data models using CDS Views and Embedded Analytics
• Translate business and functional requirements into robust analytics solutions
• Partner with internal and external development teams to ensure quality delivery
• Ensure performance, scalability, and secure design through ATC, PlanViz, and optimisation
• Conduct performance reviews and introduce new S/4HANA features (eg extensibility, RAP)
• Define and enforce analytics governance, standards, and naming conventions
• Promote extensibility and low-code/no-code analytics approaches
• Act as a trusted advisor, influencing analytics decisions and roadmap planning

Required Experience

• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA Analytics, CDS, and data modelling
• Solid understanding of analytics architecture, governance, and performance tuning
• Hands-on collaboration with functional teams and delivery partners
• ABAP, ABDP, table functions, and OData knowledge
• Experience with SAP BTP and Datasphere
• Strong foundation in clean-core and extensibility principles
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Start date: 16/02/2026

Work Model: Hybrid - can be delivered mostly remote but some occasional time onsite in Krakow may be required.

Contract length: An initial contract of 6/12 months will be offered with extensions likely
