SAP ABAP Consultant - €350 per day - 6 months - Remote (Europe)

bluewaveSELECT are currently supporting a leading SAP customer on the search for an SAP ABAP Data Migration Consultant to support a critical SAP programme.

This position requires a hands-on consultant with strong ABAP development experience combined with proven SAP data migration expertise. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing and executing migration objects whilst supporting the wider data migration workstream.

The role is predominantly remote with occasional travel requirements if project demands require. Candidates must be based within Europe and possess excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and optimise SAP ABAP programs to support data migration activities
• Build and maintain LSMW migration objects and associated migration routines
• Support data extraction, transformation and loading activities across SAP landscapes
• Work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to validate migration requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related technical issues throughout the project life cycle

Requirements:

• Strong SAP ABAP development experience
• Proven experience delivering SAP data migration projects
• Hands-on experience with LSMW
• Experience using SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services)
• Strong understanding of SAP master data and transactional data migration processes
