Job Description

TJoin a mission-driven, globally connected organisation that is expanding its in-house Salesforce capability. We're looking for a Salesforce Engineering Manager to lead a new UK-based Salesforce team, driving delivery of business-critical digital projects.

This is a permanent role at a senior level, offering the chance to shape a strategic Salesforce environment and lead a skilled, collaborative team.


What You'll Do:


  • Lead a team of 6 Salesforce professionals based in Cardiff, delivering major implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Oversee project and support development workstreams while ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Foster team development, manage performance, and support recruitment and onboarding.
  • Drive Agile and DevOps practices across development lifecycles.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders and ensure effective communication across teams



What We're Looking For:


Essential:


  • 6-7 years' hands-on Salesforce development experience, progressing into a technical leadership role.
  • Experience with DevOps
  • Strong background in managing development teams and coordinating delivery.
  • Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies (Scrum Master certification preferred).
  • Familiarity with software management tools like Azure (or equivalent).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience managing geographically distributed teams.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
  • Organised, adaptable, and comfortable managing shifting priorities.

About the Team:


This position is part of a newly created UK-based Salesforce team, including DevOps Engineers and Test Analysts. Two sub-teams will focus on:


  • Strategic Projects: Large-scale implementations including AI initiatives and digital services.
  • Ongoing Enhancements: Key system updates related to personal data, discounts, and more.
