The Customer Experience & Marketing team has an exciting opportunity for two Customer Experience Learning Specialists to join the team. These roles are remote, with frequent visits to London and national travel to deliver face-to-face training.
Main duties of the jobAs a Customer Experience Learning Specialist, you will deliver learning solutions across Barchester Healthcare to drive high occupancy levels by converting prospective residents and short-stay residents into permanent ones. You will analyze current practices and results, immerse yourself in the enquiry-to-admission journey, and identify key conversion points to develop targeted training that maximizes conversion rates.

Job responsibilitiesJoin the Customer Experience & Marketing team as a Customer Experience Learning Specialist, with remote work and regular travel for face-to-face training sessions.
We seek candidates who excel at building strong, consultative relationships and rapport. This role offers a great opportunity for a passionate, self-motivated sales professional interested in enhancing brand standards and driving occupancy improvements.
Your responsibilities include:
- Understanding current enquiry and sales practices, immersing yourself in the journey from enquiry to admission.
- Gaining expertise in Customer and Resident Experience, including Life Enrichment and Customer Journey, to identify missed opportunities.
- Identifying key conversion points and developing training to optimize these, using customer insights.
- Designing structured learning programs focused on occupancy and customer experience improvements, both technical and skill-based.
- Supporting a digital-first training approach with a blended delivery method, collaborating with operators to determine the best methods.
- Traveling nationally as required for face-to-face training sessions.
- Creating effective learning environments with appropriate tools and systems.
- Preparing high-quality training sessions.
- Implementing training modules into Barchester's Learning and Development platform and HRIS systems, including testing and pilots.
- Maintaining resources supporting sales and occupancy success for current and future leaders.
- Providing ongoing coaching to leaders on a one-to-one basis as needed.
£40,000 per annum, with a generous car allowance of £6,500, an annual bonus, life cover, retail and leisure discounts, free access to medical specialists, and confidential counseling and legal services.
Person Specification Qualifications- Experience as a Learning and Development specialist with a focus on sales and conversion.
This role is subject to a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, requiring disclosure submission for criminal convictions.
