Job Description

We are seeking a creative and versatile mid-level Sales Excellence Specialist - Digital to support our digital content strategy and execution across various platforms. This role requires a unique blend of creative vision, strong content creation and management skills, project management capabilities, and a keen eye for user experience and visual design.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing engaging content, managing content management systems, overseeing digital projects, and both contributing to and ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing presence. Main task will be a hands-on execution of project tasks supported by strategic thinking, capable of driving content initiatives from concept to completion.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive digital content strategies aligned with organizational goals, brand guidelines and target audience needs.

2. Create high-quality, engaging, and SEO-friendly content across multiple digital platforms, including websites, learning management systems (LMS), and other (online) channels.

3. Manage and maintain content within our content management systems (CMS), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.

4. Oversee design and development of user interfaces and visual elements for digital platforms, ensuring a user-centred and aesthetically pleasing experience.

5. Direct the backlog, manage timelines, tickets, and requests for digital content and platform updates, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

6. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather content requirements and ensure alignment on project goals.

7. Contribute to implement modifications to website and platform interfaces to improve user experience and functionality.

8. Troubleshoot technical issues related to content and digital platforms, generating tickets and managing user access as needed.

9. Oversee content related to legacy tools and websites, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date as needed.

10. Contribute to training improvements by identifying needs and developing supporting content.

Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.

Experience in digital content creation and management.

Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles.

Proficiency in visual design and UI design and prototyping tools.

Project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Communication and interpersonal skills for communicating efficiently within the organisation.

English B2 level


Preferred:

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, etc.) and/or Figma.

Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices.

Basic web development skills like knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.

Copywriting and editing skills with attention to detail.

Experience with content management systems (CMS).

Experience with CMS Contentful.

Good understanding of Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for communicating efficiently within the organisation.

English C2 level.

Dutch and/or German speaker


Key Details:

Although the business is in automotive parts, it is not required to have automotive knowledge.

The role acts as an interface among Sales, Marketing and IT, requiring a skillset that overlaps all departments. Performance metrics can therefore be derived from amongst others website traffic, social engagement rate, lead generation, brand awareness and app & tools performance.

Other Requirements:

When the candidate is located in the Netherlands, the job will be a hybrid function with an office located in Delft (3 days). For Europe and GCC positions, travel will be minimal to none.
