5 - 10% About the RoleAs aTechnical Pre-Sales Consultantwithin theEnterprise Payments (EPC)team at FIS, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our cutting-edge payment solutions and the evolving needs of our clients. You'll partner with sales, product, and engineering teams to deliver compelling technical narratives, design tailored solutions, and support strategic engagements across the globe.
What You Will Be Doing- Engage with clients to understand business and technical needs, aligning them with FIS EPC solutions.
- Deliver compelling product demos, technical presentations, and architectural overviews.
- Lead or support RFI/RFP responses, covering integration, security, compliance, and more.
- Collaborate on solution design with Product and Functional Pre-Sales teams.
- Develop and maintain pre-sales materials and train internal teams on product capabilities.
- Plan and execute Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to validate solution fit.
- Support Project Definition Studies (PDS) through workshops and documentation.
Technical Expertise
- Solid understanding of enterprise payment systems and preferably FIS EPC solutions.
- Experience or familiarity with Kubernetes, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Kafka, REST APIs, OIDC, major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud), MQ technologies, and SIEM tools like Splunk.
- Proven track record in a technical pre-sales or solution consulting role.
- Experience delivering presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong background in responding to complex RFI/RFPs.
- Demonstrated ability to extract and document client requirements.
- Experience contributing to large-scale solution designs and proposals.
