We are looking for a Sales Recruitment Consultant to join our education recruitment agency. You will build relationships with schools and educators, grow our database, and deliver top-quality matching services.

About us

At Teaching Personnel, the UK's market leading education recruitment agency, we don't just match educators to jobs - we create opportunities that transform lives. Our mission is simple: to connect passionate educators with the schools that need them most, making a meaningful difference in classrooms across the UK.

Whether you're new to recruitment or an experienced consultant, we offer clear career progression, hands on training, and regular opportunities for promotion. If you're passionate about education, thrive in a fast paced sales environment, and want to make a real difference every day, this could be the opportunity for you.

About the job
  • Building strong relationships - engage with schools and educators to understand their needs and create the perfect matches.
  • Expanding your network - grow a strong database of talented educators and trusted school partnerships.
  • Becoming an expert - stay ahead of education trends to provide market leading recruitment solutions.
  • Delivering exceptional service - ensure the highest quality standards in matching educators to schools.
  • Achieving success - hit and exceed targets where your successes and results are rewarded.
About you
  • Sales focused - experience in recruitment, direct sales or customer service, means you excel in a performance driven environment and meet targets.
  • People centric - you love building strong, lasting relationships and thrive in a social, dynamic, goal oriented environment.
  • Resilient - you see obstacles as opportunities and stay motivated and proactive in a fast paced setting.
  • Agile - you can manage multiple priorities and juggle tasks efficiently while delivering outstanding service.
  • Driver - ideally you have access to a car for getting out and about to meet clients on a regular basis.
What we offer
  • Uncapped commission structure - real earning potential that rewards your hard work.
  • 28 days' holiday + bank holidays - plus an extra day for every year you stay (up to 33) and option to buy up to 5 more days (all pro rata for part time roles).
  • Enhanced paid family leave - after probation passes, to help new parents and long term carers.
  • Medical cash plan - after probation passes, making contributions toward everyday health costs such as dental, optical and prescriptions.
  • Life insurance - from day one (up to 4x salary) plus free wellbeing support with access to 24/7 GP, counselling, medical second opinions, physiotherapy and lifestyle coaching.
  • Pension contributions - from both of us, after 3 months.
  • Discounts - access to different options to help your money go further.
  • Flexible benefits - you choose such as extra holiday, healthcare, bikes, gym, electric cars and Give As You Earn (after probation passes).
  • Learning and growth - we invest in your development with ongoing learning, training and career growth opportunities.
  • Volunteer days - 3 paid volunteer days each year, with two dedicated to education.

Employment offers are subject to satisfactory vetting checks. These checks will be run in line with the latest guidance and legislation. You must already have the right to work in the UK; we cannot offer sponsorship for visa applicants.
