Job Description

We are the Information Intelligence Group (IIG) of CACI UK, a specialist technical consultancy providing bespoke solutions to solve complex operational problems. To support our targeted future growth, we are looking to appoint a Sales Operations Officer to work closely with our Account Management team.

Role Location:

You can work from any of our 6 offices in the UK (including Bristol, Cheltenham & Plymouth) or from home, you decide.

About the Role:

The Sales Operations Officer will play a key role in supporting the sales team in triaging opportunities identified through commercial frameworks. You will drive operational efficiency, ensure data integrity, and enhance processes that contribute to successful client relationships. Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and triaging opportunities from various frameworks and procurement sources, primarily related to Crown Commercial, Utilities, National Security and Defence, Transport, and Health sectors, and sharing them with the appropriate teams.
  • Maintaining and updating data in CRM systems (Bigin/Netsuite) to ensure accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
  • Supporting the development and generation of sales reports, dashboards, and performance analytics.
  • Assisting with pipeline management and forecasting processes.
  • Coordinating bid-related communications, proposals, pricing documents, and contracts with sales and legal teams.
  • Monitoring and improving internal sales processes and documentation where appropriate.
  • Providing administrative support to the sales team.

The Fit:

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with experience in sales support, operations, business administration, or similar, seeking a role in a professional, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and an interest in business operations and technical consultancy.

Security Clearance: Due to the industries we work in, the successful candidate must be able to obtain high-level security clearance. To qualify, you must be a British citizen and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years.
