Sales Manager/Business Development Manager - Robotics

UK (Remote)

Do you thrive on driving robotic sales and shaping a new market from the ground up?

A leading international robotics company is looking for a Sales Manager/Business Development Manager to establish and grow their presence in the UK.

This is a rare opportunity to be the company's first UK hire, combining sales expertise with technical knowledge of industrial robotics and automation.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop and execute UK-specific sales strategies, including lead generation and pipeline management.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, using CRM tools to track opportunities and progress.
  • Drive business development and manage the full sales cycle in the UK.
  • Localise sales and technical documentation for the UK market.
  • Provide technical and application support, including proof-of-concept demonstrations and on-site presentations.
  • Act as the company's technical representative on-site, delivering high levels of service and building long-term customer relationships.
  • Capture market insights and customer feedback to influence product positioning, strategy, and commercial strategy.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in industrial robotics, industrial automation, or related manufacturing technologies.
  • Strong understanding of industrial processes and efficiency optimisation, safety, and productivity.
  • Proven B2B sales experience, including pipeline management and CRM usage.
  • Confident presenting to senior stakeholders and delivering technical demos and PoCs.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and capable of driving operations in a new market.
  • Adaptable, solution-oriented, and able to collaborate with international teams.

Remote across the UK, with occasional travel to customer sites and international offices.
