Job Description

To strengthen our head office team in Zurich, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join us immediately as a:

Sales Manager - 100%

to join our Sales Team on a 9-12 month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave (14 weeks), with the possibility to extend close to its termination.

Who we are:

You will report directly to the Cluster Director of Sales and work closely with our Sales & Marketing Coordinator across local and international markets, particularly within the FIT, leisure groups, sports associations, and MICE segments. You will join us ahead of summer, receive thorough onboarding and training, and then take on an independent, high-impact role, giving you the opportunity to showcase your skills and make a real contribution while covering for maternity leave.

Key responsibilities:

  • Planning and conducting client meetings, sales calls, roadshows, events, fam trips, as well as participating in national and international trade fairs.
  • Proactive selling to increase revenue and gain market share in a competitive environment.
  • Managing agencies contracts for each hotel, in accordance with current business and pricing conditions.
  • Accurately tracking daily sales activities in the PMS and CRM, updating account profiles, and ensuring consistent reporting.
  • Managing and accurately tracking sales activities in the Property Management System (PMS) and regularly using the CRM system to update activity reports and accounts' profiles.
  • Preparing and analyzing statistics and reports to support our strategic decisions.
  • Conducting market and competitor analyses to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Ensuring proper and timely reporting.
  • Maintaining daily communication with General Managers, Revenue Managers, and the Director of Operations to ensure that sales strategies align with operational goals and revenue optimization.
  • Travelling regularly to our hotels and partner locations as required.

  • Work with a cluster commercial and finance team based in Zurich, supported by a loyalty program and ambitious plans to expand our hotel portfolio through new acquisitions.
What We Offer:
  • Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written. Other languages are bonus.
  • A solid educational background, preferably with a degree in hotel or tourism management.
  • Experience in Sales and Prospecting in both leisure and groups; MICE expertise is a big plus.
  • Experience with domestic and non-domestic markets.
  • Strong communicator who ensures timely follow-up across channels (email, phone, etc.), choosing the right medium while remaining responsive and professional.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM system ( Salesforce, Asana, or equivalent) is essential; MEWS knowledge is a plus.
  • Proactive, goal-oriented, and highly organized, with strong integrity, precision, and independence in your work.
