Role Overview
As a Sales Manager you report to our Commercial Director, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and forging strategic partnerships across the Netherlands. A core focus of this role is building and managing a high-quality sales pipeline-from identifying and qualifying leads to closing deals and transitioning clients to the operations team. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver impactful healthcare solutions in areas such as virtual GP consultations, healthy lifestyle, women's health, weight loss, virtual physiotherapy, and many more.
A strong existing network within the Dutch (health) insurance sector is essential, as you will be expected to leverage these relationships to accelerate business development and strategic collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and grow a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent deal flow and revenue growth.
- Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in healthcare, insurance, and retail sectors.
- Leverage your network within Dutch (health) insurers to open doors and drive strategic conversations.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed targets.
- Create compelling business cases and proposals tailored to client needs and market trends.
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and handover.
- Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including C-level executives.
- Track pipeline metrics and provide regular reporting on sales performance and forecasts.
- Represent Teladoc Health at industry events and build a strong network in the telemedicine space.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in strategic sales or business development, preferably in healthcare, insurance, or financial services.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing a high-performing sales pipeline, solution selling, meeting sales targets while creating value for clients at the same time.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical skills and experience building business cases and sales strategies.

- Contract for 32-40 hours per week
- Competitive salary: €85,000-€95,000 gross per year on a fulltime basis + 20% off gross salary performance bonus.
