About the Role

As aSenior Sales ExecutiveatFIS, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic sales initiatives across the UK and Ireland. This position focuses on promoting our market-leadingcore banking and payments solutionsto financial institutions, helping them modernize operations and enhance customer experiences. You'll be part of a high-performing team, working in a dynamic fintech environment where innovation and client success are at the heart of everything we do.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to grow revenue across core banking and payments portfolios.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior decision-makers at Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks.
  • Lead complex sales cycles from initial prospecting through to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including product, marketing, and solution consulting-to deliver tailored, high-impact client solutions.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics.
  • Represent FIS at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management using CRM tools.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across the FIS product suite.
What You Bring
  • Proven success in enterprise sales within financial services, with a focus on selling to banks in the UK & Ireland.
  • Strong domain expertise in core banking systems, digital transformation, and payment technologies.
  • Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and influence C-level executives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset with a passion for fintech innovation and client success.
  • Experience managing long sales cycles and delivering results in a quota-driven environment.
