Sales Executive

Sales Executive - £35K - £40K - Car Allowance - Uncapped commission! Birmingham

This Sales Executive role would suit a talented freight sales professional with a solid grounding in freight operations or freight internal sales, looking for a step into external sales.

You will manage your own diary, day and week!

1. Develop and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing clients.
2. Undertake presentations for long-term business, produce and present tenders and quotations for business.
3. Offer a high standard of customer service to internal and external customers, demonstrating a professional, helpful, and positive manner.
4. Generate and follow up sales leads, visiting potential and existing customers to obtain new business at reasonable profit.
5. Build and maintain effective business relationships with overseas correspondents, exchanging information, undertaking joint business, and supporting sales visits to and from them to develop sales.
6. Provide accurate information to internal operations staff to complete all relevant administration efficiently.
7. Work with Line Managers to promote specific markets and generate business through targeted joint calls.
8. Stay informed about current market developments and competitor activities.
9. Use the sales system to record all required information and ensure all documentation, records, and systems are accurate.

• Freight forwarding sales experience - internal or external
• Business-to-business experience
• Strong operational background in freight, with a desire for sales also considered
