A well-established company is currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Executive to support both sales and operational functions. This is a varied and rewarding opportunity for someone with proven experience in a similar role who is ready to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative environment on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role based on a 40-hour week, with hybrid working available. The business offers flexible working arrangements, allowing some choice in how hours are structured throughout the week.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Providing quotations for all incoming enquiries.
- Coordinating daily with sales and operations teams on project and delivery requirements.
- Assisting with the completion of tenders, including evaluation and negotiation to minimise company costs.
- Arranging and coordinating international and domestic shipping, including customs and documentation.
- Ordering, tracking, and reporting ETS for all incoming and outgoing shipments to relevant departments.
- Processing Goods Received Notes in Sage 50.
- Procuring approved items in line with authorised purchase orders.
- Consolidating vendor lists to support cost efficiency.
- Compiling and delivering certification packages.
- Ensuring equipment calibration and maintaining up-to-date records.
- Preparing operations-related documentation, including shipping paperwork.
- Verifying deliveries against customer purchase orders.
- Collaborating with management to support strategic initiatives and improvements.
- Working cross-functionally to integrate logistics with wider business processes.
- Assisting with onboarding of new employees and maintaining employee records.
- Carrying out additional tasks as directed by your reporting Manager.
Applicants to this role require:
- Experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of Sage 50.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Analytical approach with problem-solving capability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Discreet and trustworthy when handling sensitive information.
- Confident working independently as well as within a team.
