Overview

Salary: £45k - £50k per annum plus bonus and other benefits.

An expert designer, supplier and manufacturer of custom-specification barrier protective packaging for transportation is looking for a salesperson to join its team during an exciting time of continuous growth. With over 30 years of experience serving both small and large corporations, our client is ISO 9001:2015 and Carbon Neutral certified, demonstrating a commitment to quality and outstanding customer service.

In house manufacturing facilities consist of hand fabrication and automated packaging with a 24 hour turnaround, focusing on quality and on time delivery. Materials are manufactured in BRC accredited facilities.

We are looking for a driven, ambitious and results oriented individual with existing experience selling a niche product, looking to further develop their career in packaging.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy that balances hunting new customers and farming existing accounts, prioritising quality over quantity.
  • Deliver a high level of customer care within a B2B environment, generating new business through a logical, methodical, disciplined and inquisitive approach.
  • Attend the office regularly and undertake periodic travel to customer sites, both locally and internationally (including visits to the USA sales function and exhibitions).
  • Collaborate across departments through our cross business training program, gaining a deep understanding of how each department contributes to the company's success.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Existing experience selling a niche product, ideally within the print, packaging or paper sectors.
  • Strong B2B sales background with a proven track record of generating new business.
Training & Development
  • Product and manufacturing process training programmes will be offered.
  • Ongoing support designed to foster longevity of service and career progression.
Travel & Location

The role requires regular office attendance with periodic travel to customer sites locally and internationally, such as visiting customers, attending exhibitions or providing support to the Sales function in the USA.
