As they continue to scale, they are looking to hire a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support their commercial growth and build out a strong pipeline of opportunities.
This is an excellent entry point into the world of fintech and AI sales, offering the chance to join a business that is already gaining traction with well-known financial services firms. You'll be part of a small, high-performing team where your contribution is visible from day one, with huge development and progression potential.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Proactively identify potential clients across the financial services sector and initiate early-stage conversations
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality opportunities for the wider sales team
- Keep CRM systems up to date with accurate notes, activity, and pipeline progression
- Learn and articulate the value of the platform in a clear, commercially relevant way
- Work alongside marketing to support campaigns and improve outreach effectiveness
- Use a mix of outreach methods including email, calls, and LinkedIn to engage prospective customers
- Research target organisations to better understand their structure, needs, and potential use cases
- Assist with meeting preparation, follow-ups, and general sales support activity
- Continuously develop your understanding of the product, market, and sales techniques
Essential Criteria
- Up to 2 years' experience in a sales or customer-facing environment
- Genuine interest in technology, particularly AI or fintech
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to pick up the phone and engage new contacts
- Well organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- Ambitious and motivated to build a career in sales
Desirable Criteria
- Exposure to a B2B or SaaS environment
- Any experience within financial services or a related industry
- Familiarity with CRM systems or sales tools
