Job Description

Sales Development Manager
£60,000 - £70,000 + Commission
Remote (with travel to London and client sites as required)

We are partnering with a fast-growing, forward-thinking technology business that is transforming how organisations deliver mentoring, coaching, and development programmes through intelligent, scalable solutions.

They are looking to appoint a Sales Development Manager to drive pipeline growth, lead consultative discussions with senior stakeholders, and convert high-quality prospects into long-term clients.

This is a pivotal commercial role, reporting directly to the Head of Customer Success, with strong exposure to the wider leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and manage a strong sales pipeline
  • Lead consultative sales conversations with senior decision-makers
  • Convert qualified prospects into long-term customers
  • Accurately manage sales activity and forecasting through CRM systems
  • Contribute to overall commercial growth strategy
Experience & Skills Required

Essential:

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing commercial role
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience managing pipeline and sales activity within a CRM system

Desirable:

  • Experience within a start-up, SaaS, or technology-driven environment
  • Background in AI, HR tech, or learning & development technology
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar
Skills & Attributes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident leading consultative sales conversations
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting and handling objections
  • Self-motivated, commercially driven, and results-focused
  • Resilient with a strong determination to achieve targets
