At Scholastic UK, we are one of the best-known primary education publishers in the country, the UK's largest school book fair operator and the biggest children's specialist bookseller in the UK and Ireland.

We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated Self-Employed School Sales Consultants to work with Scholastic Education to promote and sell teacher resources, reading series and children's books. Key to the role will be visiting schools both in person and virtually, to build strong relationships and realise sales growth across your territory.

Applicants must live within their territory.

You will be home based covering a specific region.

Please note this role is commission-based and not salaried.

• Promote and sell teacher resources, reading series and children's books to schools within your territory.
• Visit schools both in person and virtually to build strong relationships and grow sales.
• Manage a busy schedule to meet minimum sales expectations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Excellent communication skills with outstanding presentation and demonstration abilities.
• Ability to effectively manage a busy schedule and meet sales targets.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft packages and an understanding of the education system.
• Full driving licence and flexibility in working hours are essential.
• Self-Employed status and home-based working within a defined territory.
