Sales Consultant

Overview

Pentagon Motor Group is seeking a Sales Consultant to join the team at our Burton dealership. The successful candidate will have a retail sales background with a proven track record of achieving targets and a genuine passion for delivering an outstanding customer buying experience.

Responsibilities

• Talk to people, build genuine rapport, and identify customer needs to turn opportunities into sales.
• Meet sales volume targets and maximise profit opportunities with each sale.
• Exceed customer satisfaction targets and promote long-term profitability for the dealership and group.
• Telephone prospecting of new and existing customers.
• Promote and sell additional items such as paint protection, service plans, and warranties.
• Stay up to date with current finance options and regulations to present all available options to customers.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in a target-driven retail sales environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills and strong, effective communication.
• Excellent rapport-building abilities and self-motivation with a drive to exceed targets.
• Ability to deliver a first-class customer buying experience and maximise profit opportunities.
• Passion for exceeding targets and a proactive attitude.
• Knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Previous motor industry sales experience is advantageous but not essential (training provided from Day 1).
• Willingness to undergo a Basic Disclosure check under DBS procedures.

Schedule

This position is 5 days per week according to the sales rota, with Sundays off.
