Job overviewDo you have an interest in Sales? If you're someone who's great at building relationships and has a resilient nature, this could be an excellent development opportunity for you. We're seeking a highly motivated individual to join our SME Intermediary Sales team, to build productive relationships with our intermediaries and ensure the achievement of financial targets. You'll grow the relationship between AXA Health and our key intermediaries - you know how important it is to get it right for stakeholders. You'll utilise our core product range to sell to the SME PMI market, ensuring profitable growth and using every opportunity to sell other products.
Key responsibilities- Achieve monthly new PMI API / subscriber targets, considering profitability of the overall book.
- Build productive relationships with our key intermediary partners.
- Cross sell other products to intermediary's including travel, dental & optical, cash back and other non-PMI products available.
- Deliver exceptional service in relation to call handling.
- Understand and achieve sales objectives during processes that are in line with our values and core behaviours.
- Demonstrate knowledge of existing products, including all bespoke team products, core PMI products, non-PMI products and the various pricing mechanisms used.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of each database and system that is required to function within the role.
- Be compliant with the Financial Conduct Authority guidelines and with the Data Protection Act.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.
Your skills & experience- Pro-active approach to managing relationships, and the ability to take advantage of every sales opportunity - essential.
- Experience and a working knowledge of compliance regulations - essential.
- Demonstrable experience working with business process and protocols.
- Strong communication at all levels and with internal and external customers.
- Organised and able to manage own time effectively, and at times work under pressure.
- Experience of working in a regulated industry - preferred.
- Confident in working to targets and a goal focused approach.
- Competent in Outlook, Excel, Word, Power point.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
