Job Summary:
The Sales Capture Specialist is responsible for supporting specific sales opportunities, working as part of a sales team, and being supported by more senior sales professionals. This role involves being immersed into a sales team to learn and leverage best practices, tools, processes, and reporting to support management and new business meeting preparation. The Sales Capture Specialist will play a key role in shaping, selling, and closing deals, typically greater than $10M, that are single or multi-service.
As Sales Capture Specialist you willsupport Accenture Song to expand its footprint and client exposure in transformative digital experiences across Consumer Goods, Retail, Travel, Automotive and Life Sciences, as well as wider industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Origination Support:Assist in the development of C-suite pitches and leverage Accenture's Value Insight Platform to build indicative business cases to support business propositions.
Client Engagement:Work closely with the client team to develop a point of view on client business priorities and map these priorities to Accenture's capabilities.
Sales Strategy:Develop and manage the win strategy, negotiation strategy, and close plan. Engage with firm leadership as appropriate to shepherd deals through the approval process.
Pursuit Management:Provide support in sales strategy creation, message house, win theme development, and key buying events. Manage action items, coordinate key events with clients, and escalate issues to the Sales Lead.
Solution Integration:Integrate outcomes from work streams including solution, pricing, legal, and proposal management.
Team Collaboration:Lead the sales team and work closely with the Client Account Lead (CAL), the client team, and relevant subject matter experts.
Business Development:Manage business development spend on opportunities and ensure alignment with the firm's sales targets.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in sales or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience in managing large, complex deals.
Proficiency in using sales tools and platforms.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the technology or consulting industry.
Familiarity with sales methodologies and processes.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Ability to adapt existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
Additional Information:
This role requires flexibility to work in different time zones and may involve travel.
The Sales Capture Specialist is expected to manage individual sales targets and contribute to the overall sales goals of the team.
