This role offers a unique opportunity for technical professionals looking to transition their careers into Sales.
The Sales Application Engineer is responsible for driving sales and providing technical support for the organization's products in the Power Generation, Hybrid Microgrid, and Marine markets. This role requires a deep technical understanding to support customers effectively, including project commissioning within the designated geographic territory and/or market segments. The Sales Engineer will work closely with new and existing customers to ensure satisfaction and successful implementation of ComAp products and services.
Your daily work will include the following:
- Identify and engage new customers and prospects for all ComAp product lines within the Power Generation, Hybrid Microgrid, and Marine markets.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing company customers and clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and identifying new sales opportunities.
- Provide technical support and training to customers, acting as a technical partner and resource.
- Ensure the successful installation and commissioning of projects, including ongoing servicing as required.
- Compile offers and quotations, following up to convert leads into sales.
- Provide Market Analysis and Promotional Activities such as exhibitions, fairs, and industry events to increase market visibility and generate leads.
- Keep detailed documentation and provide regular reports on sales activities, market conditions, etc.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies and technical solutions.
What we expect from you:
- Experience either in the Hybrid Microgrids, Marine segment or Power Generation.
- A degree in Electro-technical engineering an advantage or equivalent industry experience.
- Confidence in building strong relationships with our customers.
- Be prepared to travel, visiting our customers domestically and travelling overseas to our HQ or other subsidiaries.
- Experience in B2B sales.
