Job Description
This hybrid role combines sales, customer service, and light administration-perfect for someone who enjoys being hands-on while also staying organized behind the scenes.
Responsibilities
- Set up and manage the market stall each day
- Engage with customers, offer product recommendations, and drive sales
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and attractive stall
- Support with inventory management and placing restock orders
- Assist with admin tasks including sales tracking, order processing, and customer communications
- Prior sales or customer service experience (food-related preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Availability on weekends and occasional weekdays
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices
- Experience in small business or market stall environments
