We have an opportunity for a GP to join the team at any of 21 GPPractices in Sutton Borough. A great opportunity to work in an innovative andfast expanding GP practices within the Sutton PCNs.We are a small, close-knit team with amission to provide the best healthcare to our patients in the local community.
We work in three clinical teams with dedicatedadmin support from Care Coordinators, a named mentor & support from aClinical lead, protected admin time, opportunities to develop your interests(teaching & training, specialist clinical areas, quality improvement,leadership), daily coffee meetings, regular clinical and educational meetings& social events. We can be flexible on terms and working patterns.
As a salaried GP you will be workingwithin a cohesive team of fully supportive staff enabling you to focus on thequality of care of your patients.

Overview Main duties of the jobMaking professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presentingproblems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers.
Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiatedand undiagnosed problems.
Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs ofillness.
In consultation with patients and in line with current National andLocal disease management protocols, developing care plans for health.
Providing relevant and appropriate health education.
Referring to other care providers as appropriate.
Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreedstandards.
Complying with QOF requirements.
Prescribing in accordance with the SWL prescribing formulary orgenerically whenever this is clinically appropriate.
In general thepost-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties andresponsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care
About usSutton Primary Care Networks is the collaborativevehicle for the four Sutton PCNs and the former Sutton GP Federation workingtogether as a single entity. We are a Community Interest Company that aims toreinvest surpluses back into general practice and primary care for the benefitof our practices and the people who form the communities we serve.
Sutton has four PCNs whose boundaries are based onhistorical relationships and groupings of organisations. There are somesimilarities of residents health and care needs unique to a particular PCN, andmany more needs that are shared across all four PCNs.
Our four PCN represent all 21 GP surgeries inSutton. Their collective footprints cover all of the London Borough of Suttonand its residents who are able to access and benefit from the services andimprovements offered by Primary Care Networks.
Primary Care Networks (PCNs) are a key part of theNHS Long Term Plan, with all general practices being required to be in anetwork by June 2019, and CCGs/Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) being required tocommit recurrent funding to develop and maintain them.
Person Specification Experience- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
- Proficient in the use of EMIS, DART.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team;
- Ability to work with limited supervision;
- Understanding of the pressures faced by GPs and healthcare teams;
- Willingness to contribute to and participate in a peer support group;
- Appropriate representation with a recognised medical defence organisation;
- Current DBS check (undertaken less than 6 months before the date of appointment);
- Proven ability to offer support within a clinical team and share learning points in Practice meetings;
- Fully trained GP.
- Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice in General Practice
- A good understanding of GMS contracting requirements and the operation of the Quality Outcomes Framework process(QOF and QMAS)
