Main duties of the job

We have an exciting opportunity for a progressive and enthusiastic salaried GP to join us on our journey towards achieving the best possible standards for our patients.

We welcome applications from experienced GPs as well as those recently qualified.

As a Salaried GP, you will be required to work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract.

You will be expected to share in telephone and face-to-face consultations, on-call duties, and to carry out necessary paperwork including results, Docman, EPS, medical reports, tasks. Additionally, our admin GP will provide support and help manage some of the admin workload for you.

Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.

About us

Springhead Health is a large GMS GP Practice, serving approximately 22,300 patients.

We adopt a team approach to patient care and endeavour to monitor the service provided to patients, to ensure that it meets current standards of excellence.

We occupy a purpose-built building with excellent road and rail links, and a nearby high-speed train service into St Pancras London.

We are currently using EMIS Web clinical system.

Job responsibilities

Person Specification Qualifications
  • Qualified GP MRCGP Vocational training certificate or equivalent JCPTGP General Practitioner (certificate of completion of training CCT).
  • Full GMC registration National performers list registration.
  • Appropriate indemnity.
  • Eligibility to practice in the UK.
  • Experience of working in primary care environment.
  • Experience of CPD.
  • Experience of QOF and clinical audit.
  • General understanding of GMS contract.
