We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our semi rural practice in the beautiful village of Metheringham, Lincolnshire with just over 5700 patients. Church Walk Surgery is a dynamic and forward-thinking practice looking to recruit a motivated and compassionate GP to become part of our well-established and supportive team for 4 sessions/2 days per week.
We aim to deliver a high standard patient experience whilst working in a friendly team environment. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who values a good work-life balance, professional growth and an efficient and manageable workload.
This role is also offered with 'a view' to Partnership.

To work as an autonomouspractitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to thepractice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilstcomplying with the GMS contract.
Furthermore, thepost-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice,contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example,maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with themultidisciplinary team.

Thepost holder will provide an educational role to patients, carers, familiesand colleagues in an environment that facilitates learning.
Allstaff are to recognise the significance of collaborative working andunderstand their own role and scope, and identify how this may develop overtime. Staff are to prioritise their own workload and ensure effective timemanagement strategies are embedded within the culture of the team.
Teamwork is essential in multidisciplinaryenvironments. Effective communication is essential and all staff must ensurethey communicate in a manner which enables the sharing of information in anappropriate manner.
Service Delivery
Staffat Church Walk Surgery must adhere to the information contained with practicepolicies and regional directives, ensuring protocols are adhered to at alltimes.
Staffwill be given detailed information during the induction process regardingpolicy and procedure.
Security
Thesecurity of the practice is the responsibility of all personnel. Staff mustensure they remain vigilant at all times and report any suspicious activityimmediately to their line manager.
Underno circumstances are staff to share the code for the door lock to anyone andare to ensure that restricted areas remain effectively secured.
Professional Conduct
AtChurch Walk Surgery, staff are required to dress appropriately for theirrole.
Leave
Allpersonnel are entitled to take leave. Line managers are to ensure all oftheir staff are afforded the opportunity to take a minimum of 6 weeks leaveeach year, and should be encouraged to take all of their leaveentitlement. Public holidays will becalculated on a pro rata basis dependent on the number of hours worked.
PrimaryResponsibilities
Thefollowing are the core responsibilities of the salaried GP. There may be onoccasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent uponfactors such as workload and staffing levels:
