Job Description

Join a supportive, forward-thinking practice with excellent admin support and a genuinely manageable workload (15 patients per session). Flexible 2-session GP role, no weekends, hybrid working and ideal for portfolio careers.

We are a friendly, well-established single-handed practice seeking a motivated and patient-focused Salaried GP to join our team for 2 sessions per week.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract, with the potential to extend beyond this period subject to ongoing funding arrangements.

With a patient list of just under 4,000 and growing, we offer a supportive, well organised and modern working environment, enabling clinicians to focus on delivering high quality care with a manageable workload.

Main duties of the job
  • Deliver high quality, patient focused clinical care in line with current best practice
  • Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, pharmacists, HCAs, mental health practitioners and social prescribers, to provide coordinated and holistic care
  • Undertake patient consultations, including assessment, diagnosis and ongoing management
  • Support the management of long term conditions, alongside health promotion and preventative care
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the practice through participation in clinical audit, education and quality improvement initiatives

Person Specification Qualifications
  • MRCGP
  • Full GMC Registration
  • Inclusion on the National Performers List
  • Current UK professional registration
  • Experience working within UK general practice
  • Interest in digital working and service improvement
