Safety Supervisor - Flight Operations

Overview

Excel Technical Consulting are currently experienced aviation safety professionals with a background and focus within Flight Operations to join a globally known client based in the North East of the UK on a permanent basis.

This management level opportunity will play a key role in the continued flight operations on site, working closely with the aviation safety team located at the company head office based elsewhere in the UK to ensure the highest level of safety standards are implemented and adhered to.

Responsibilities

• Serving as flight ops SME for the operational base
• Leading on hazard identification and risk assessments
• Facilitation and contribution towards Safety Review Boards and Safety Action Groups
• Acting as point of safety management to liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will have come from an operational flying background with a strong knowledge of active flight operations - be that as a pilot, ATC or similar - and have previously undertaken delivery and development of safety management systems, as well as a proven knowledge of aviation safety regulations and risk management tools.
