Safety Coherency Engineer - Submarines

Location: Devonport

An excellent opportunity for a Safety Coherency Engineer has arisen at our Devonport site in HMNB(Devonport). The Safety Coherency Engineer will work closely with colleagues from our industrial partners in the UK Submarine Enterprise to deliver future Facility Safety Cases for infrastructure at the Naval Base.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with industry partners to support the timely production of evidence.
• Ensure the appropriateness of site claims on NSRP TA information.
• Serve as the site's point of contact to Raynesway-based SQEP.

Candidate Requirements

We seek individuals who embody safety-first principles, integrity, simplicity, and impactful work. To succeed, you will need:

• Experience applying modern methodologies in safety cases.
• Understanding of the relationship between plant and site safety.
• Good knowledge of the NRP Safety Case.
• Ideally, experience in writing or assessing civil Nuclear Safety Cases.
