The University of LondonThe University of London is both the UK's largest provider of international distance and online learning and the convenor of a federation of 17 renowned higher education institutions.
The federation brings together more than 250,000 learners and 50,000 staff in a collaborative community that is delivering high-quality research and education across all disciplines.

About the RoleThe University of London Careers Service (UoLCS) is recruiting a Careers Consultant to support students and graduates at two specialist University of London member institutions: the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) and the Royal College of Art (RCA).
This is an exciting opportunity to support students and graduates from two distinctive institutions to develop their employability, make informed career decisions and achieve their career goals. You will deliver careers guidance, workshops, events and digital resources tailored to students studying veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing and biological sciences at the RVC, alongside postgraduate students preparing for careers across the creative and cultural industries at the RCA.
Working in partnership with academics, employers, alumni and professional services colleagues, you will help embed employability within the curriculum and wider student experience while contributing to the continued development of careers provision across both institutions.
As part of the wider University of London Careers Service, you will share ideas, resources and best practice with colleagues across the Small Specialist Colleges and Distance Flexible Learning teams.
Working ArrangementsThe role is split equally between the Royal Veterinary College (0.4 FTE) and the Royal College of Art (0.4 FTE). The successful candidate will work across both institutions and will be expected to work flexibly in line with their respective working arrangements. Working pattern is as follows: Wednesdays and Thursdays at the RVC and Tuesdays and Fridays at the RCA.
