About the Role The primary purpose of the role is to manage all of the rostering systems within the Te Waipounamu Region ensuring that the organisational and structures are correct the system is configured in line with legislative and Collective Agreement requirements and aligned to the National standards. Ensure the rostering system functionality is optimised for all Districts within the region. About you You're an experienced rostering leader with 8-10 years' hands-on experience managing and implementing rostering systems within large, complex organisations. You bring deep technical expertise combined with strong people leadership, having successfully led teams of eight or more rostering specialists to deliver reliable, compliant, and efficient rostering outcomes at scale.You have a sound working knowledge of the Holidays Act 2003 and other relevant payroll and employment legislation, and you're confident navigating complex compliance environments. You've also played a key role in the implementation of complex collective agreements, ensuring systems, processes, award interpreatation and people are aligned and fit for purpose.You're known for your ability to balance operational delivery with strategic thinking, build capable teams, and provide trusted advice to stakeholders in high-pressure, highly regulated environments.
