Roadside Technician - Mayfair

About the Role

Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician. Join the team that keeps the UK moving. As a Roadside Technician with a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and at least 2 years' experience, you'll receive market competitive compensation and flexible working.

• Base salary £41,600 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable) with a realistic OTE of £66,000. Top performers can earn significantly more through bonuses and enhanced overtime rates.
• Demand led shifts averaging 40 hours per week, with optional overtime available.

Where you'll work

You'll be part of the Mayfair cluster, covering Mayfair, Soho, Westminster, City of London, Covent Garden, Knightsbridge, Chelsea, Kensington, Paddington. Work is organised locally so you can start and finish at home.

What you'll need

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years post qualification technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
• Customer focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

As a Roadside Technician within our Patrol division you'll deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. Whether it's a flat battery, tyre change or complex fault finding, you'll provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance when our members need it most.

You'll start and end your day at home, tackling challenges head on and making a real impact on the roadside - combining technical expertise with outstanding member service. Your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit are all provided.
