Roadside Technician - Horsham

About the Role

Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician. As a Roadside Technician with a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and at least 2 years' experience, you'll work across the UK delivering expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle faults, including flat batteries, tyre changes, and complex diagnostics.
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance to members during emergency breakdowns.
• Work demand led shifts averaging 40 hours per week, with overtime available.
• Use own RAC van, fuel card, uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 2 years post qualification technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
• Customer focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.
