We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Payments person to join our team in the role of Risk and Control Manager, Payments.

We have a bold ambition to truly excel in Payments, and you'll be part of a team at the forefront of that focussing on ensuring effective governance within Payments, ownership of risks and issues, ensuring control effectiveness and ownership of operational resilience and managing incidents.

In this role you will:
  • Provide effective governance within Payments by ensuring all risks and issues are identified, owned, and tracked to resolution
  • Work across the organisation to ensure our controls are effective in relation to RBW owned payment's activity
  • Play a critical role in our Important Business Services, ensuring we can minimise outages and ensure playbooks are operationally effective in down time.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
  • Strong understanding of Cards/Payments product management and risk and control frameworks
  • Good understanding of operational resilience and running effective governance
  • Strong understanding of current and future regulatory environment relating to Payments
  • Experience of building effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same
  • Ability to present complex issues confidently and concisely to internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work well under pressure, demonstrate flexibility and adapt to rapidly changing priorities and tasks that are potentially wide ranging
  • Outstanding relationship management, collaboration and influencing skills

This is a hybrid role and can be based in London, Birmingham, Chester, Leeds or Sheffield.
