We are currently recruiting for an Industrial Specialist Cleaning and Waste Disposal Expert to join our team at Radius Industrial, Belfast. This is a great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company.

• Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards, including weekly and periodic tasks
• Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health guidelines (COSHH)
• Maintain full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and agents, and use cleaning equipment as directed by the Line Manager
• Report immediately any faulty equipment, mark it as faulty, and do not use it
• Use appropriate safety signage at all times, e.g. wet floor signs, and warn customers where possible
• Keep cleaning stores clean and tidy, and store equipment safely at all times
• Be knowledgeable about biohazards; work may involve cleaning bodily fluids such as blood, faeces or vomit that can carry infectious diseases, including hepatitis or HIV
• Safely dispose of sharps such as needles and blades when necessary
• Comply with all security regulations for cleaning materials, equipment and buildings as laid down by the client and Mount Charles
• Remove and dispose of large bulky waste items
• Use power hose for specific periods

• Good time management skills
• Experience of working independently and ensuring tasks are completed
• Customer focused with a good eye for detail
• Full clean driving licence and reasonable transport access
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals/products and previous cleaning experience
• Basic statutory training: candidates must have basic reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills to understand safety and work instructions and communicate with customers
