We're looking for a Retail Team Member to welcome visitors to the National Trust shop at Chedworth, answer their questions and help them make the most of their day.

Salary: £12.75 per hour

Contract/duration: Fixed term contract until 30-Nov-2026

Hours / working pattern: Seasonal, flexible, weekends. This is a zero hour contract, meaning we can't guarantee a set number of hours each week. While we aim to provide a consistent work pattern, flexibility is needed as schedules may change based on business needs. We'll try to give as much notice as possible. The role includes weekends and Bank Holidays but does not require evening or split shifts.

Property is open 7 days per week, typical shifts 2-3 per week including weekends and bank holidays.

For this role, you'll need to complete our online assessment to understand your strengths and give you more information on the role.

As a member of the retail team, you'll be offering visitors help and advice with their shopping, maintaining high standards of presentation in the shop while providing excellent service to all customers. You'll also talk to visitors about how their purchases help fund the National Trust's work. Other duties may include arranging, receiving and unpacking deliveries, creating shop displays, and keeping the shop floor clean and organised.
