Job Description

We're looking for a Retail Team Member to welcome visitors to the National Trust shop at Hughenden, to answer their questions and help them make the most of their day.

Salary: £12.75 per hour

Contract/duration: Permanent Contract. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.

Hours/working pattern: Predominantly Sundays, however opportunity for flexible other days to suit the business needs as required e.g. bank holidays.

Assessment: For this role, you'll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.

As a member of the retail team, you'll be offering visitors help and advice with their shopping. You'll have high standards of presentation in the shop while providing excellent service to all customers.

You'll also be able to talk to them about how everything they buy helps to fund the work of the National Trust. Other duties may include arranging, receiving and unpacking deliveries, creating shop displays and working with others in the team to keep the shop floor clean and organised.
