We're looking for a Retail Team Member to welcome visitors to the National Trust shop at Bodnant, to answer their questions and help them make the most of their day.
Salary and ContractSalary: £12.75 per hour
Contract Type: This is a zero hour contract, meaning we can't guarantee a set number of hours each week. While we aim to provide a consistent work pattern, flexibility is needed as schedules may change based on business needs. We'll try to give as much notice as possible. The role includes weekends and bank holidays but does not require evening or split shifts. Shifts will fall between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., with a variety of start times.
Contract Duration: Fixed term until 31st October 2026
Interview Date: Friday 10th July at Bodnant
Assessment will be required in place of a CV or online application form.
What you'll be doingAs a member of the retail team, you'll be offering visitors help and advice with their shopping. You'll have high standards of presentation in the shop while providing excellent service to all customers.
You'll also be able to talk to them about how everything they buy helps to fund the work of the National Trust. Other duties may include arranging, receiving and unpacking deliveries, creating shop displays and working with others in the team to keep the shop floor clean and organised.
